Xueting Shen was born in Beijing, China. She grew up in Nairobi, Kenya and later moved to Bern, Switzerland. In 2019, Xueting obtained her Bachelor's degree in Material Science at ETH Zurich. Under the supervision of Prof. Lucio Isa, she conducted her master thesis on 'Novel Approaches for the Fabrication of Multi-Material Micro-Structures via Two Photon Lithography' and obtained her Master's degree in Material Science at ETH in 2021. Now, she continues as a PhD student in the group.
